1978-85
The 1981 stickers were made of foil and did not hold up well.  They had a tendency to shrivel or peel off.

1987-92

No sticker was issued for 03/87 since this date was screened directly onto the license plate.

1991-date

The expiration month was changed to March, and a new plate was redesigned for 1986.  These plates were dated 03/87 meaning no 1986 stickers were made.  Despite this plate having two sticker boxes, all stickers were made to "fit" the upper right sticker box.  However many motorists chose to put these stickers on the other side as well.

NB moved to staggered registration in mid 1990.  This means stickers exist both for March, and other months after that.  The later month stickers of that year are a different color.
